What it does

Silk amino acids and proteins rebuild weakened hair bonds, strengthening and smoothing damaged, colour-processed and dry strands. Nourishing plant-derived oils – Abyssinian, argan and marula – replenish and seal in moisture while restoring shine and manageability for a fuss- and frizz-free finish with or without heat styling.

We skipped the non-water-soluble silicones and the traditional (and hard-to-remove) plasticisers, instead utilising gentle, plant-derived ingredients that work with your hair to restore strength and natural movement without leaving any build-up. This moisturising and restorative formula rescues dry hair while shielding it from future damage from heat-styling tools.

At a skin-friendly pH of 4.0, Silkamino™ Conditioning Leave-In Milk supports the naturally acidic balance of the hair shaft (and scalp).

How to use

Apply a small amount to freshly cleansed, towel-dried hair, combing through from roots to ends. Style as usual. Tip: Apply to dry hair as needed throughout the day for a boost of moisture, smoothness and shine.

Ingredients

Hydrolysed Silk: Conditioning protein that works by filling in “cracks” in the hair shaft, temporarily smoothing damaged hair in between shampoos.

Silk Amino Acids: Softening amino acids derived from silk that help to add strength, improve manageability and give hair a healthier appearance.

Silk Sericin: Component of silk protein that has a temporary bonding effect on damaged hair, smoothing the shaft and improving manageability in between shampoos.

Crambe Abyssinica Seed Oil: Aka Abyssinian oil. Used for its smoothing and conditioning properties.

Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine: Vegetable derived and biodegradable. Conditioning and emulsifying anti-static/anti-frizz and smoothing agent that resists build-up.

Behentrimonium Methosulfate: Plant-derived (non-GMO rapeseed oil) ingredient used in hair care for its detangling, smoothing and conditioning benefits. Resists build-up.

Panthenol: A powerful humectant that boosts the water content of the hair shaft and helps prevent dehydration.

Virgin Marula Oil: This super-absorbable oil, high in critical antioxidants and omegas 6 and 9, helps moisturise, add shine and smooth the hair shaft.

Vanilla Planifolia Fruit Extract: Derived from the seed of the vanilla plant. Vanilla fruit is used for its powerful concentration of free-radical-fighting polyphenols, as well as for its soothing benefits.
